Visual Arts Teacher Needed for T4 Start

Hays Education currently is seeking a teacher of Visual Arts to take on a 12 month maternity leave contract from term 4, 2008, through to the end of term 3, 2009. This role is a temporary full-time position at an excellent Independent Girls school in Sydneys Eastern suburbs.

This school has excellent resources and supports its staff and students thoroughly. The school caters for day and boarding students across years 7 12 and follows a Catholic ethos. This school has a long-standing history of over 100 years of excellence in education.

The successful candidate will be required to teach visual arts across the full 7 12 spectrum. Applicants must have experience teaching the HSC course, as they will be required to take the full final year for a HSC class. They must be strong across all areas of visual arts, an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with a willingness to be involved in the life of the school.

All applicants must be qualified secondary school teachers with unlimited working rights in Australia. Preferred applicants will be subject to working with children checks and reference checks.
