Our client is a well known business that supplies industrial consumables and equipment to tradespeople and companies in Australia and New Zealand. Their first branch opened over 50 years ago and since then they have been dedicated to supplying the finest welding materials and support to various businesses around the country. They now has ambitious growth plans in place and to assist with this they require a sales driven and target focused Account Manager to join this close knit and friendly team based in the Western Suburbs. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this position will see you responsible developing new business relationships and managing exsisting key account activity. This role will see you developing strategic plans to ensure growth and develop business within Victoria. As a part of this position you will also create and implement efficient procedures as well as develop a strong sales focus and be tasked with achieving very realistic sales targets. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: • Proven sales background within the industrial supplies sector • Experience in developing and growing a key customer base • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to develop and evaluate strategic sales plans • Industrial welding product knowledge or industrial tooling • Trade or Engineering qualifications desirable In return for your experience and skills you will be greatly rewarded with a base salary of circa $65k + Super + FMCV + Bonuses.
