This role is with one of Canberra’s biggest, busiest and most reputable car dealerships. With both new and used cars, a high output service centre and a wholesale part centre, this company employs around 100 staff. This organisation provides structured training and development and offers great scope for internal movement and career progression.
Your Role: In these positions you will join one of 2 successful teams in new car sales (prestigious brand) or in new commercial/ fleet vehicle sales. These positions are a great opportunity for an experienced sales person to step in to a successful team selling a quality product. Alternatively this is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual with good people skills to start out in automotive sales (structured training offered in this case). In this instance the client is willing to consider people from a variety of backgrounds (bankers, ex-hospitality staff or people with sales backgrounds will be held in high regard). What the employer is looking for is people skills and personality in addition to the passion and the drive needed to succeed in a lucrative sales industry. Further to this you will have a good ability to learn a new range of products (an interest in cars is always good) and you will have strong communication and negotiation skills (not to mention the motivation to make some good money!).
