This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Australian mining company in a Safety and Training Manger role. Working on a Monday to Friday roster you will be based in the southern Bowen Basin.

In this role your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Managing and leading a team of safety and training professionals in carrying out all site safety duties
• Implementing control systems and strategies
• Building a positive site health and safety culture
• Advising senior management on safety management systems

You will be familiar with the Office suite, have tertiary qualifications in health and safety or relevant field and have 7+ experience in a mining environment. Any direct experience with truck and shovel operations will also be beneficial.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $125k - $140k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
