Senior Gameplay Programmer required by my client a game developer based in Sydney CBD, recognised as a leader in their field with state of the art technology, producing AAA+ Titles. Able to offer a stable environment, solid career prospects internally and the opportunity to work on projects that will undoubtedly put your name up in lights.

This role requires a programmer that has shipped a minimum of one title through to completion in a senior capacity, so mentoring and guiding younger programmers. Keen involvement in meetings as well as the usual cutting of good clean code. You will be involved in creating the true feeling of the game mechanics for next generation gaming.

Ideally you will be a seasoned professional who is passionate about producing quality games of the highest standard. You will need to have strong communication skills verbal and written, confident in your own ability and able to handle stressful situations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Expert in C++
  • Strong architecture, documentation and design skills
  • Game mathematics, physics and simulation background
  • Advanced animation sequencing and blending
  • Game scripting languages such as LUA or UnrealScript
  • Experience working well with designers
