Located in Melbourne, they are a world leader in manufacture of rotating equipment used in heavy industrial industries such as Mining and Tunnelling. They are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
The Job
To manage an assigned project team so they satisfy or exceed customer expectations while supporting the company vision, mission and values.
This position is based in Melbourne, and you will have the responsibility to:-

• Liaise with clients and representatives
• Prepare monthly reports on the project progress and submit to client
• Analyse project cost and determine variances by major components
• Ensure project is completed on time and within budget
• Make sure contract Terms and conditions are understood and followed
• Establish and maintain a group of suitable sub-contractors for fabrication and installation functions.
• Determine the scope of a project with the Engineering Manager.
• Provide feedback to management on project status, estimates and delivery progress
• Ensure adherence to Quality Procedures for subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, Environmental, Quality and other relevant policies and procedures
