An exciting opportunity exists to become a valued member of this globally recognised EPCM organisation within the Mechanical Engineering team offering great project exposure and a fantastic company culture. Our client is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team that has extensive experience in the design of Materials Handling equipment at Ports/Marine. The successful candidate will posses extensive experience in the design of Materials Handling equipment and will work independently to complete design, planning and execution of projects in the Mechanical Engineering field, ensure projects are delivered within time, HSE parameters and budget, act as team leader when needed, be able to work in multi-disciplinary teams and be able to demonstrate the understanding of client needs as well as achieving client satisfaction across the board. You will assist the industry leads in external marketing, business strategy development and proposals writing Requirements: - Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Proven experience in the design of Marine Materials Handling Equipment (Ports)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel (for report writing)
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ status)
- Multi-disciplinary project experience/exposure
