Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer who is looking for a challenging position with a Defence industry leader.

This position will see the successful applicant reporting to the Senior Project Manager and will provide an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in the Defence / Naval industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine requirements for contents of engineering documents and review these with engineering practitioners and management.
• Perform technical writing tasks to support the timely delivery of ILS documentation and data deliverable's to meet contract requirements.
• Liaise with engineering and ILS staff to capture the engineering details and incorporate these into identified hardware engineering quality documents.
• Review of generated engineering documents.
• Release of generated engineering documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Mechanical Trade Background
• Experience in Defence Industry Technical Writing
• Fully competent with Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• MUST hold Defence Security Clearance
