This is an opportunity for professional and suitably qualified senior Signalling Design Engineers to join this well known international company involved in the design and manufacture of railway signalling equipment and systems. The company has a strong focus on career advancement and providing innovative new designs for their customers.

You will be responsible for the preparation of formal designs and submissions in response to projects for key customers. You will review schematic plans, interlocking and control circuit designs, oversee the production of vital railway signalling equipment and systems. You will also take charge of a small team of technical specialists on a temporary basis for specific projects.

There are vacancies for the following positions:

• Senior Signal Design Engineers
• Principal Signal Design Engineers

To be successful in these roles you need to be tertiary qualified in an electrical engineering discipline, have extensive signalling design experience in the rail industry, and a background in managing complex signal engineering projects. You also need to have current experience with Australian Rail Standards and Codes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proven background in leading small multi-disciplinary teams, and good computer skills with MS Office.

An IRSE licence would be considered an advantage.
