This position reporting into the Principal Process Engineer will have responsibility for managing specialist consultants providing design services contributing to ongoing feasibility studies into significant mine expansion projects. Initiating the generation of options around initial conceptual design, estimation and approved design of major capital works and infrastructure services you will have significant interaction with EPCM consultancies to ensure management of the construction implications, the project cost and the environmental impact. Further, this will involve the management and review of outputs from external consultancies, coordinating workloads, budgetary reporting and pre-feasibility and feasibility reports focused around the active participation in the identification of reasonable solutions around key infrastructure services including power, water, drainage and roads services. High level negotiation skills and senior internal and external stakeholder engagement skills will be required. To be successful in this role you will have strong experience in structural and civil engineering with project management experience in large scale infrastructure projects. Additionally you will be Tertiary qualified in Process / Chemical Engineering with advanced skills in AutoCAD design principles and advanced MS Office skills. With supervisory experience in an Engineering and Project Engineering environment, you will demonstrate a strong safety focus and a knowledge of hazardous materials, environmental protection requirements, and of quality assurance principles.
