The successful applicant s main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the project team responsible for the Instrument Panel, Console and CCB Systems on local programme in the capacity of a Project Engineer, and co ordination of a wide cross-functional team to deliver the program wants within target and on time.
  • Lead the design team activities by adopting the corporate design and development processes including (Boundary diagrams, P diagrams, Interface matrix, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with robustness linkages, Reliability Robustness Checklists).
  • Lead team activities to deliver customer satisfaction and the program quality targets through the collection and analysis of warranty and customer feedback, including internal craftsmanship and FCPA requirements
  • Support current production manufacturing team members to resolve production problems as required.
  • Delivery of TVM (cost reduction) Targets for local product using Design Efficiency Analysis, CRID database, and support APA teams to deliver their targets.

The ideal applicant would be a qualified engineer with significant work experience in the automotive industry. Experience in Automotive design processes, Systems engineering approach, FMEA's & DVP's and design and release is a must.
